		<description>If I were prescribed a placebo as I define it (a sugar pil or inert treatment with no active ingredient) I would be hurt, mad and think that the dr. was not taking me seriously.
However, if you use the definition the researchers used of a treatment with no proof it helps diagnosis, then I might try it.  For instance, an antidepressant to help me sleep if I had chronic pain, or otc pain meds to take the edge off.  It  might also depend on how long i&#039;ve known and how much I trust the doctor.</description>
