Definitely, call yourself. I give them time for the results to come in, but I always call. I'm one out of some 3,000 patients, a mere pebble in a sea of cases. I know they aren't waiting on just my results in any given day. Patients have to take the initiative to call and just make sure. This helps both sides.

Thanks for highlighting this finding. This is a pet peeve of mine; I hate it when my doctor (or vet even) tells me "no news is good news".

About three years ago I moved to my new doctor and she always sends me paperwork outlining my test findings regardless of the results. I LOVE this as I can keep a decent 'at-home' medical file and monitor what tests were done to me and what the results were.

I don't care who the doctor is; I will always care more about my results than the doctor so I wold like to know what they are to satisfy my own curiosities.
