Just letting you know I’ve popped in.
On the 10 tips for acquiring disease, I do believe they feel alcohol is a no, no for estrogen positive breast tumors as well, something to do with it acting as an estrogen in the body.

For readers not familiar with the study, alcohol consumption is associated with an increased risk for the development of estrogen receptor positive tumors (meaning breast cancers sensitive to the female hormone estrogen).

exasperated (sigh)! I typed in this comment on soy and omega 3’s possibly having estrogen type properties and forgot to enter that darn anti-spam word! Shoot…can’t reproduce it now. Sorry, this comment is no where near the comment I would have left. I’d like to see more studies on all this for pre-menopausal women. Young women are getting b/c. Young Survival Coalition has some statistics of this on their site.
