    My comment is on Sandy Szwarc’s item dealing with children and the influence that commercials have on them in regards to obesity. I have the answers. Throw the TV out the window. Problem solved. (Children spend 900 hours in school and 1,023 hours in front of the TV.) When you’re going down the cereal isle and your child(ren) want a cereal that you don’t feel is good for them, say NO! Who’s in charge? It’s not that food is causing them to be fat, it’s what kind of food they’re eating. You’re the purveyor of the food that they consume so it’s your responsibility that the eat healthy foods. Adding to their obesity is lack of exercise. When was the last time you said, “Go outside and play”?
